Three members of the Senior Dolphins squad were in action at the Crown
Pools, Ipswich at the Ipswich Junior Open Meet, weekend of 27th/28th
October. Open Meets run throughout the year and are open for swimmers
to enter voluntarily if they make the Meet qualification times.
Competing were Abigail Malster (14), Lucy Mackenzie (14)
and Kezia Tan (15). All three swimmers achieved Personal Best
Times and County Qualification times (For March 2008).
Abigail Malster also achieved a Regional Qualification time in 100m Freestyle.
The time of 1.05.53 was also a Hadleigh Swimming Club Record. Abi also broke
the 200m free club record-2.22.71. This will be Abigail's first trip to the
Regional Championships in May/June 2008 and we wish her every success.
Well done all three to all three girls for their successes and
determination and credit and "thanks" to Head Coach, Kern Death,
newly appointed in April 2007.
